
You know how I posted before about my nephew's subway-themed birthday party? Well since J loves, loves, loves the NY subway system my sister asked me to make this poster for him. She provided all the places and subway stops that mean something to him, and I illustrated this map so he can see everything together at one glance. The final size was 18"x24".

Each symbol for each landmark is sooo cute!! I love the elk symbol for church (Is it NLF? I used to go there when I lived in the area). Very special place.

aww, this reminds me of when i was little my mom drew a poster-sized map of our neighborhood, and it had all the important things like my friends' houses and my school! anyway i think this map is way awesome too, and made me smile :)
