Seattle covers

I designed and illustrated the following covers for the Seattle Times' Ticket section (a weekly tab of things to do in the city). Click on the images to see them at a larger view.

"Delectable Dumplings" : tracking down the best hole-in-the-wall dumpling houses in the city. The cover photo shoot fell through, so I had a day to illustrate this cover story.

"In the Wake of Katrina": Death Cab for Cutie and the Seattle Symphony give benefit concerts for Hurricane Katrina relief

"Earshot Jazz Festival"

"No Fly Zone": Movie cover for "The 40-year-old Virgin." My take on a modern man's chastity brief

"Rah vs. Nah" : a double-purpose Ticket cover -- where to watch the Seahawks in the Superbowl . . . or the Seattle Symphony

"Rising Legend" : John Legend, the up-and-coming R&B crooner/pianist

"Bloodbath!" : the end-of-summer horror flick binge

"Dark Water"

"'Zorro' Loses its Edge": illustrating this one-star review of the Zorro sequel
